Spencer Zhao

About

Hi, I'm Spencer.

I'm Spencer (Yunpeng) Zhao, cofounder at CoreSpeed, based in San Jose, California. We build the access and control layer for AI agents — 50+ app integrations through one OAuth, with built-in tools, memory, and plain-English policy + agent pay — so agents do real work, safely, instead of just chatting.

I like turning ideas into running systems fast, and I build and ship products end to end: BuildLog (commits → marketing) and Fixo (an AI mechanic). I'm just as happy down at the metal — two of my favorite early projects are an FPGA digital clock and a tiny lithium-battery UPS.

Empower the agents, then get out of the way.

Experience

  1. Cofounder · CoreSpeed

    Present

Building the access and control layer for AI agents — connect them to the apps you already use, and keep them in bounds.

    • The platform: 50+ app integrations through one OAuth, built-in tools, memory, plain-English policy, and agent pay. Portable across Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor.
    • Zypher Agent (open source, 336★) — a minimal framework for building agents with full control over tools, providers, and execution flow.
  2. Founder & builder · Independent products

    Ongoing

Designing and shipping full products end to end.

    • BuildLog (buildlog.ink) — turns commits, PRs, and releases into draft social posts. Next.js 16 · Supabase · Vercel AI SDK.
    • Fixo — a mobile-mechanic platform where an AI agent diagnoses faults, writes the estimate, and drives Stripe payments.
    • Claude Max Gateway and Amazon Order Wizard — LLM developer tooling and a React 19 + Rust browser extension.

Beyond code

I like building physical things too — a multi-function digital clock in Verilog on an FPGA, and a tiny USB-powered lithium-battery UPS for Raspberry Pi and low-power MCUs (both on GitHub). Hardware keeps me honest: the real world doesn't accept hand-wavy abstractions.
